As I clean my office of dust and crap, I've gone through my books as I mentioned last week. Among the mess I re-discovered a gem from the folks I work with--actually, from the company they contract to help us with work/life balance. Occasionally I pick up one of the free items. This was one of them.

It's a little book of 100 ways to feel better everyday. If I read a page a day, I'd read the book three times over in a year. However, I don't want to do that.

I want to share them with you. Because I'm share-y that way.

A lot of these will be "well, duh" and "I can't do that" stuff. but I hope that something in here might help someone. Just in case. Cause I think all of you deserve to feel good.

Let's get started, shall we?

FEELING GOOD

1. Start your morning off right.
Breakfast boosts memory, improves your mood, and can help control your weight. A number of research studies have found that students who eat breakfast score higher on tests. The same is true for adults. People who eat breakfast also are generally thinner. Start the day with a healthy breakfast like high-fiber cereal or oatmeal and a glass of juice. If you're not much of a breakfast eater, try having a "smoothie" for your morning meal--blend a banana, low-fat yogurt, and orange juice together.

So, what did you have for breakfast?

Bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and a diet coke. LOL. Not the healthiest, but it was breakfast. :-)
