New spreadsheet is up and ready for you use as you see fit. Yes, there will be further tweaks, but the core information is there. New-to-the-list restaurants are shaded pink. (I test-printed in black and white--the pink is a darker grey than the "for your sanity" shading).

Please feel free to link people to this journal entry.

We will add actual addresses to the new restaurants as we have time--in the meantime, from faire to get to Annapolis Mall: Turn left, then at the light turn left, then when you run out of road you're at the mall. MOST of the new places are to the left of where you are now. SOME have outside-only entrances.

To get to Annapolis Towne Center: Go to Festival At Riva (where Chili's is, and Ground Round used to be). The Towne (pronounced "town-ee", of course) Center is that new stuff across the street. There's several parking garages in the buildings, and a parking lot next to Gordon Biersch.

But here's what you've been waiting for, the answer to "where are we going to eat tonight?" Here, in its tasty glory, is THE LIST.

Let me know if you have difficulties, or edits, or questions!
(And for the record, yes, Blob's Park is open.)

We will have a map update for you shortly.

I did none of this. This is all [livejournal.com profile] 3fingeredsalute's fault--his work has made this update possible.

As always, this information is not guaranteed valid, your mileage may vary, and CALL the restaurant to verify details (and warn them that your horde is coming).

Ver 2.0 MAP / LIST

Feel free to point people to this post, and the map and list. If you have comments or questions, please post here so we can keep updating the list.

Hello world! *waves*

Once again, I have pulled/cobbled/borrowed and gathered the information for Rennie-friendly restaurants in the Annapolis area. As always, this list is not complete.

This year, with the help of my esteemed friend and tech-guy [livejournal.com profile] 3fingeredsalute, we have a new way to give you this information:

As a MAP

The map is in a Beta format, as I took forever to get the stuff to the tech-guy (my procrastination knows no bounds), and he wants to work with it a little more. As it is a beta, or a fairly solid draft, we are still open for suggestions/recommendations/corrections. Please comment here.

And as always, this is not a complete list. Your mileage may vary, and as he says in the notes on the map, it is always in your best interest to CALL THE RESTAURANT FIRST. *grin*

We are still looking for someone to host the original Excel spreadsheet so it can be accessed by those who prefer the original list format. In the meantime, if you want the spreadsheet, please contact me and I'll get it to you.

EDIT: The amazingly forward-thinking and coffee-drinking [livejournal.com profile] kaliopi mentioned that Google can also hold documents--so THE SPREADSHEET IS NOW here.

Is it faire yet?

I keep forgetting to tell everyone this...

The MDRF Friends of Faire has offered to host the restaurant list. Lumpy was good enough to put together a printer-friendly version, and other cool features.

I love web-people.

Where is it? Here: http://mdrffof.com/rest.html

As always, corrections/additions/comments happily accepted.

Enjoy!

Updated list follows, but I'd love to continue to update the list as the season continues. Any new recommendations from y'all? Tweakings of the places on the list as it stands? Where did you go for dinner, and did you like it? (We went home early and cooled down, then ordered takeout from RH&B, in case you were wondering.)

As always, ask, and I will email you the updated original. Debating marking the places that also do "to go" or as us older folks call it, "take out", for those who want to pick something up on their way to the shower in the hotel or home.

Oh my goodness. It POSTED my SPREADSHEET. *faint*

Here ya go folks. A short list, based on my personal experience and lack of decent memory, of possibly rennie-friendly places for dinner post-faire. Note the inclusion of phone numbers. Kids Y or N is decided with a few factors, including whether buying a 6yo a meal there is a costly thing or not. Group size is S=4ish, M=6-10ish, and L=take over half of the restaurant. Price is based on what I remember from the last few times I've been to that place, and compared against a night at Ground Round, with GR=***.  (*=dirt cheap and *****=get a loan to pay)

Please also note that this list is based on MY PREFERENCES. Your mileage may vary. This spreadsheet will be updated as I remember more (like my fave chinese that isn't on there yet). And the original spreadsheet is available upon request.

It's a table! Wheee! )
