Yesterday, I started my work day with the annual ergonomics training. Nothing new there, really. And then I went on with my workday, getting work done, and getting knitting done. It's a project in cotton. And I was racing towards the end, so I cranked on it during the meetings I had and in the cracks of my day.

By the end of the work day, my hands were chilled, and I couldn't get them warm. After work I put the knitting down, and did none of it last night (I followed up on RSVPs and did taxes instead). And still, my fingers were chilled.

It wasn't until this morning that they were warm again.

What does this mean? That I think I might have stressed my wrists and elbows with the super-fast knitting. What does this mean in the long run? I *have* to slow down with the cotton knitting. Rats.

So this cotton thing is one of the two that I want to complete this month, and there's a wool thing I want to complete as well--as part of the Fling's KAL for March. I picked a hat, with tons of cabling. And it'll be in wool, which is more forgiving to my hands.

*glances at cotton project* I'll, um, just cast off this bit first.
