I don't crochet...

...but if I did, I would whip up a buncha these. The Boy's cars need some, and I think one per car for friends to help keep them safe would be too cute for words.

Maybe I'll start carrying that crochet hook and some waste yarn to faire, in case I see my teacher at a point when I can pause and get a lesson. I've found some more incentive, it seems.

Edit to add: Oh dear. She has more patterns for adorable fruit and squid and other things as well.

Crochet is not that hard at all. It's what I do primarily. And looking through the pattern it doesn't seem like a difficult pattern either.

*g* If you can't find them, you know where I always am on Sundays (and this coming Monday). You've bound off in knitting, you can do everything that you need to do for that pattern... honestly, just need to shift where you stick the hook a little bit. Heck, some people prefer to use a crochet hook to bind off their knitting - because you're really just doing a single crochet across the top and the hook helps keep those loops from slipping as you go.

I'd never thought of binding off as single crochet before, but you're right! Wow! See, single crochet I can do. It's what to do with the snake after I make it that I'm at a loss about.

Oh, that part is easy... if you make it long enough. You *know* you really need/want a nice draft stopper or five for doors in your house, right? :-)
