Cast-on-itis averted for another night.

It really is an illness...I've been itching to cast on and cast on and cast on...there's a new sock half-cast on downstairs, and it's going to stay that way for a little longer. I need to swatch that puppy first--it's on yarn I don't know.

However, to help stave it off, yesterday during a meeting I wound a ball of pretty green (with the smallest hints of blue!) that reminded how very much I loved working with *that* yarn, and so this morning I dug up the pattern and pulled out one of my many size 8 circulars. So as soon as I copy that pattern (and put the original away), I'll be ready to cast that one one.

Um. That's not really staving off the castonitis, as much as deferring it a day, is it? Oh well.

I also FINALLY finished the increasing rows of the beaded Clapotis, and started the even rows. This is when I get to start dropping rows, and I stayed awake long enough to drop the first one. Yay! I think I've missed the KAL deadline (it's either yesterday or the end of the month, I can't recall), but I'm going to finish this pretty pretty thing. The excel spreadsheet someone did to mark the rows really helps. However, it also means I can see the eleventy-million stitches I have left in this section alone, so I'm going to let the KAL go, and just knit this pretty for what it is.

And maybe tonight I'll swatch for that sweater as well. Or cast on a scarf. Who knows!
