Um. It's been a knitting weekend.

There's a finished whatsit floating around faire. That was most of Friday night and Saturday day--at my in-law's and at faire. I'm thankful my in-laws have figured out that I can knit and chat at the same time. And I'm grateful to the Dancing Pig people for letting me hang out there and finish the murder of the muppet. *grin* I might hang out there and knit again, if they'll have me.

There was plenty of showing off of another Pretty while I was at the Pig as well. There were some lovely quiet moments for the piece as well, elsewhere. And it attended Pub Sing. I'm glad for that. It will be packaged with more love (and some habaneros for others at that house) and shipped this week. I'm ready to let go.

Today, well, I may have cast on a little something that I hope to have done in a few days. It's not much, and wasn't asked for, but I really, really need some instant gratification, and this project will do that.

I'll get back to the golf club covers and the Clapotis for me tomorrow. Tonight, there might also be a little swatching action, to start a sweater for me. (Another reason to get the golf club covers completed.) After  I get a little more instant gratification done.

EDIT at almost-midnight: I've watched the first two of the PotC movies...back to back...and was weaving in the ends on the second one's credits. So, um, the hat's done. Now back to our usual knitting angst. I think I'll get this pretty green stuff that's been so patient with me and wind it up tomorrow, so I can get it started. And there's the sweater swatching still to do as well. And the Clap...oh dear.
