So. There was knitting.

This is a picture-free post. But that doesn't mean there wasn't progress.
I need to tink backthree rows two and a half rows in the meditation piece. The pattern is beautiful (when stretched out), and I've done enough of it now to know that I screwed up, and where. After this repeat, I'm putting in a lifeline. I doubt I'll get actual knitting on this piece done tonight--just the correction. And as all lace does, right now it looks like cat barf.
I need to keep going on the Clapotis, so that I get this thing larger than a piece of a bikini. (Imagine a triangle of shiny goodness, in large stitches.) I'm sorry Mom. My husband has taken to calling it a bikini piece, and I'm afraid that's what's going to stick in my brain. But you know? If I was of slimmer proportions, I would SO go get another skein of this stuff and make myself a halter top. Oh my, the drape and the sheen and the wow. It's going to be very yummy.
And the DragonSock, well, um, I'm halfway through the leg. One repeat a day. At this rate, I'll be on the heel by Wednesday. I'm okay with that. However, I also know that I'm losing that "naptime knitting time" due to work, and I'll have other things that need my attention at night. Like dinner, and picking up after a Boy. But you know, the sock has the ability to be the meeting knitting, so I might make it by Wednesday after all.
So here's to a good weekend of knits!
