Two cool things. Okay, three.
First, I've been waiting and waiting to get this picture:
Capi? That's in my front yard. Oh, here's some more!

(Hand added for scale. I think they count as little things, don't you? *grin*)
So that's the one. Here's the second cool thing:

There's two of these. I need to trim strings, and ship them off. Yes, that's my elbow on the left. They are that long.
And finally, three:

No, it's not *that*. I don't make *those*. (sheesh, people!) This is a mitt, and I've ripped back to the thumb two times now. I've decided that the thumb opening the pattern wants me to use is not the best one for this yarn/pattern combo, so I'm dropping back to the shortened version of the Fetching thumb, with which I've had success in another pair of yarn-too-fat-for-the-pattern-but-I-can-make-it-work mitts. There will be a pair of mitts, and they will be done soon. I'm done trying to make round pegs for round holes, and will use more knitting-fu to make. it. go. (After all, I'm using yarn too large for this pattern, and have been tweaking since the get-go, and it's been a fun challenge.) I wanna get back to other projects, like the golf club covers. That I've not touched yet this year. And there's those five things I want to make for other peoples too. That's not taking care of itself.
I have to finish what I've started. And so these will be done.
Ooo! Knit night tonight! That's when I can knock them out fast. Yay!
